About Us
Diverse started as a small pub group in the late 90s, and later, cinema and cafe groups began.
Andrew Powell, the founder of Diverse, knew how important these groups were to people and so a few years later we started a nightclub event, an art group, picnics, board games socials. We then grew to bowling, karaoke and day trips.
We now run over 14 groups each month and we'd love to continue to grow as a charity so we can help support more people and groups.
Andrew Powell continues to be our Trustee, and our Senior Operations Manager Helen Eaton oversees both governance and day-today activities .
We have a fantastic team of primarily neurodivergent people working in and beyond the Bristol area.

Social Group Facilitator
Our groups are run for and by neurodivergent staff for the most part and we are looking to recruit some additional sessional staff to help expand what we can offer to neurodivergent young people and adults.
The groups run monthly for about 4 hours in total. Our groups include Dungeons and Dragons, arts and crafts, football, board games, bowling, video gaming, walking, cinema, quiz night and nightclub and we are starting a 16-19 group too.
